Refund Policy
The following applies to all websites, domains, training platforms and online services owned or operated by Safety Courses LLC. Last updated: June 2026.
1. General Policy
All purchases made through our website are considered final. All customers agree to these conditions in the checkout process by accepting the Terms and Conditions presented. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances can occur, and we have outlined our refund policy below.
2. Reasons That Entitle a Customer to a Full Refund
The following situations may entitle you to a full refund:
- After reasonable troubleshooting, we determined that a technical error caused by Safety Courses LLC technical infrastructure (website, platform, LMS, etc.) is restricting access to the purchase.
- The product received by the customer is a different product than the one advertised on the product page.
- The customer has purchased a different quantity than the intended purchase. (*)
- A duplicate purchase was made in error (same course purchased twice for the same user).
- The customer was charged incorrectly due to a system or billing error on our part.
(*) If the customer is trying to abuse our refund system and because there are many costs associated with the purchase, Safety Courses LLC reserves the right to deny refund claims for incorrect quantities purchased where abuse is suspected.
3. Reasons That Do Not Entitle a Customer to a Refund
The following situations do not qualify for a refund:
- The customer decides the course is no longer needed or is not wanted.
- The course did not meet the customer's expectations.
- The customer does not have sufficient expertise to take a class.
- An employer or union prefers a different type of training.
- The customer failed the final assessment (retakes are provided free of charge).
- The customer changed their mind after purchase.
- The customer found a lower price elsewhere after purchase.
- The certificate expiry period is shorter than expected.
4. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact us via email at [email protected] within 14 days of purchase.
- Include your Transaction ID in the refund request.
- Provide the customer's identification (First Name, Last Name and Email address) – the details must match the transaction. Only the original purchaser can initiate a refund request.
- Provide a valid reason that entitles you to a refund as described in Section 2 above.
Refund requests will be reviewed within 5 business days. We reserve the right to request additional information to verify your claim.
5. Refund Processing
We process all refunds via the original payment method used for the purchase. Once a refund is approved and processed:
- The refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
- The customer will lose access to the course content and services immediately upon refund approval.
- Any certificates earned will be revoked and marked as invalid in our system.
- The account will be permanently deleted from our system if there are no other pre-existing certificates.
Please note that processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank. Safety Courses LLC is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors.
6. Partial Refunds
In certain circumstances, Safety Courses LLC may offer a partial refund at our sole discretion. This may include:
- Technical issues that were resolved but caused significant inconvenience
- Bulk purchases where only a portion requires refunding
- Special circumstances approved by management on a case-by-case basis
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card company without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to:
- Contest the chargeback with evidence of the purchase and our terms
- Suspend or terminate your account pending resolution
- Decline future purchases from users who abuse the chargeback system
